ISTDP Psychotherapist

I invite you to think about psychotherapy as a way of searching for new perspectives – new ways of being, relating, feeling, and experiencing life. Our upbringing equipped us with a certain point of view on who we are, how we love and feel, and even what we want and aspire to. Many of those experiences gave us clarity in later life but some still cast a shadow on who we truly are.

My approach in psychotherapy combines a psychodynamic perspective with a more body-focused Intense Short Dynamic Therapy (ISTDP). In therapy, I value both empathy and directness. Sometimes what helps in the therapeutic process are warmth and acceptance and other times confrontation and clear perspective. You can get to know my approach to the therapeutic relationship in the first consultation session.

I’m a certified ISTDP psychotherapist – read more. I learned with with a world-renowned psychotherapist Josette ten Have-de Labije. My journey as a therapist started in Associação Portuguesa Psicoterapia Psicanalítica (APPSI).

I facilitate workshops in assertiveness, interpersonal training, anti-bias education and contact improvisation.

My Master of Science is from Gdansk University, 2014.

Licensed Psychologist, Integrative Psychotherapist

I support people in overcoming emotional difficulties, finding a sense of authenticity and solutions in seemingly hopeless situations. I work primarily with expats who are looking for support from someone who knows the specifics of the experience of living abroad.

My work is guided by values such as authenticity, honesty and directness. Above all, psychology is my great passion.

I am a psychotherapist in the course of graduate training of Integrative Psychotherapy at the Institute of Health Psychology in Warsaw. I work under supervision. I completed my Master’s degree in Psychology at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow in 2014. In 2018-2022. I studied Process oriented psychotherapy in Institute of Processwork in Warsaw. In 2013-2014 I conducted research on psychological aspects of the migration process at the Institute of Psychology, Jagiellonian University.

Privately, I love dancing, walks in the woods and long mornings. I am also an illustrator.

For me, psychotherapy is not only a method of coping with difficulties, but above all it is a method of experiencing one’s life more deeply. Psychotherapy can be a path to deeper acceptance of oneself and others. I invite you to take this journey together.

I’m a member of Ordem dos Psicólogos Portugueses (Order of Portuguese Psychologists) no. 31224.

My Master of Science is from Jagielonian University, 2016.
